The Program Areas of JEDA
JEDA’s Program areas (Core Program Areas) are designed to promote community empowerment, development, and social equity in Uganda. These areas guide the organization’s programs and interventions to address key community challenges and improve lives.
Social Protection, Gender Equality and Equity
This focus area aims to protect and uplift vulnerable groups and promote gender equity.
Community Empowerment and Livelihoods Support
This area focuses on enabling communities to become self-reliant and economically stable.
Public Health Care, Water and Sanitation
This focus area works to improve health and hygiene in communities.
Institutional Capacity Building
This focus area strengthens the organization and community institutions to deliver services effectively.
Education Support
This area aims to improve access to quality education and support for learners, especially marginalized children.
Environment Management
JEDA promotes environmental conservation and sustainable practices to protect natural resources.
